The Sunday roast on arrival WAS amazing. It included delicious cauliflower. The chef and the team performed admirably. I look forward to returning soon. The barman provided exemplary service too!
i stayed for three nights. Room 15 WAS above the bar in the main building. The room faced the road. If someone is showering, flushing the toilet or using the sink reduces their water to a trickle!

Really good Stay at a Dog-Friendly Hotel

The room included everything I needed plus it was very clean with all the amenities. I even found some treats and dog poo bags in the room, a lovely touch. Breakfast offered a comprehensive choice and everything was cooked to PERFECTION. The staff was cute and friendly.
The service was slow. I waited a long time for my order to be taken and for the food to arrive.

service was slow one evening during a quiet Sunday. i think the roast dinner should be removed from the menu when quality lowers. i did expect better.

The staff were genuinely helpful, and check-in was smooth. the room was a good size. It easily accommodated my luggage. i found parking quite convenient, a definite plus. the room had coffee. It was quite good.
the bathroom lacked a little ventilation, which led to slight moisture buildup after showering. this wasn't a major issue, but it was noticeable.

i stayed here for 3 nights and i was in room 15. i was above the bar in the main building and it faced the road. it was very noisy with the windows open!
